Hello, my name is Jericho, and I’m simply a guy who is obsessed with films and music. I’m not a critic in the traditional sense, meaning I have absolutely no credentials in this area beyond my passion for writing and love of the arts. I have a B.A. in English, and have written various short stories as well as a novella that I will hopefully be putting out soon. I started this blog/site simply as an outlet for my opinions, as well as to hopefully create an online community of fellow music and movie obsessives. The standard rating system (1 out of 4 stars for movies, 1 out of 10 for music), may seem somewhat irrelevant since the reviews are essentially opinion-based, but it’s just my way of expressing how I feel about the subject at the current time. I welcome comments, opinions, disagreements, really anything that gets people talking about this stuff. Feel free to message me with bands or movies to check out, or even suggestions about what I should get into. Thanks and enjoy!

Hey Jericho,
Long time no talk! I’ve missed you man. I live in San Francisco now, going to law school and working as an intern for the mayor of SF. I am constantly looking for new musical inspirations as my tastes have changed a lot from high school nights at The Boardwalk.
I have been checking your site a lot over the past few months, and I really dig a lot of your suggestions. I love that you post preview songs so that i don’t have to track down each band on my own. I was wondering if you could perhaps create playlists, or random streams, of music from your site – like a Pandora or Lastfm station, but comprised entirely of music you suggest. I would love to be able to turn it on while I work and when I find myself really digging a song, Ill take note of their name to research later. I don’t know what kind of technical or legal implications this kind of feature would entail, but I think it would be a great addition to the site. Any chance something like this is coming in the future?

It’s been so long, man. Thank you so much for leaving me a message and for the kind words of encouragement. I’ve been working very hard to make the site better, so your suggestion is fantastic. I’ve been thinking of doing something like a live stream, so it’s just a matter of putting it together. I’m thinking it can be something that will be a regular part of the site very soon. I am doing well, just staying busy and working on a variety of different projects beyond Symbiotic. How is SF?
